Marianne has taught the flute, piccolo & theoretical music for 26 years at her private music studio and in a variety of public and private schools. Classically trained in London, England, she graduated with a BA (Hons) and a Licentiate Teaching Diploma in the Flute from the London College of Music. In 2002 she was also awarded a MA in Psychology for Musicians. During her musical career she has studied under William Bennett, Susan Milan & Edward Blakeman and has enjoyed orchestral, chamber and flute choir performances. She currently teaches a wide range of students of all ages (6 to 80 years) and abilities and particularly enjoys “like-minded ladies” who wish to discover a new passion.
